Recently, the Long Beach City Planning Commission voted 4 - 2 to approve a controversial high-density senior housing project at the corner of 37th Street and Elm Avenue. Neighborhoods First is monitoring City Hall’s actions regarding this matter. Neighborhoods First supports a fair and open process to development projects in Long Beach. Community input is necessary and must not be ignored.
